In 2001 Zoe was discovered when producer Ross Alexander was working on another project that Zoe had recorded backing vocals on. Hearing Zoe's haunting vocal, Ross took no time setting up a meeting and before long Zoe was brought in to be the face and voice of dance project Dezire, a project that had found a home with HiNRG label Klone Records here in the UK.
The first single "I Don't Want A Lover" struck a note in clubland as the single
went straight to NO.1 in the famous London DJ record store Trax chart.
The single was featured on the Gayfest 2001 CD album which led to Zoe touring
the country performing with the Gayfest Show. That year was topped when Zoe performed in front of thousands on the same billing as Liberty X and Jason Donovan at the Manchester Printworks.
Single after single followed and so did the intense touring. Zoe performed at
Bennetts - Glasgow
The Powerhouse - Newcastle
Flamingos - Blackpool
Kaos - Blackpool
Cruz 101 - Manchester
The New Union - Manchester
The Hollywood Showbar - Manchester
The Nightingale - Birmingham
The Quebec - Leicester
Curzons - Derby
NG1 - Nottingham
Revolution - Nottingham
Heaven - London
Too2Much - London
Onyx - London
Legends - Brighton
Club Revenge - Brighton
The Hart - Eastbourne
Zero - Plymouth
Pride main stage - Bournemouth
The Kremlin - Ireland
Zoe under the production guise of Dezire became a firm favourite on the UK gay
scene and festival circuit. One of the biggest highlights was her performance at Euro Pride 2003.
In 2008 producer Ross Alexander set up his own label Pumpin' UK Records and invited Zoe to join him. In 2010 Zoe launched her solo career with her version of the Jam & Spoon hit "Right In The Night". It was released worldwide and was picked up seperately for Germany, Switzerland and Austria. Zoe performed in Rotterdam at The Gay Palace for DJ Rinaldo Montezz who led on remix duties on the single which topped the German dance charts at NO.2.
Zoe was invited to perform at London Pride 2011 in Trafalgar Square to over 45,000 people this year and has been putting the final touches to the long over due release of her debut album "Everlasting Love".
